05/20/2010 - Green Bay, WI (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Green Bay Packers signed quarterback Graham Harrell to an undisclosed contract on Thursday.
After an illustrious career as Texas Tech's signal-caller, Harrell was not selected in the 2009 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound QB went on to sign a contract with the Canadian Football League's Saskatchewan Roughriders but never played for the club.
Harrell finished his Red Raiders career (2005-08) with an NCAA record 134 passing touchdowns, breaking the previous mark of 131 set by Hawaii's Colt Brennan. He twice passed for over 5,000 yards.
The Packers also released quarterback Chris Pizzotti on Thursday.
